This de-matting grooming rake for dogs can be perfectly used for removing knotted coat without causing any pain. It helps to clean the coat and disentangles knotted guard hair. Little matted spots can be cut out by the sharpened blades. Larger matted areas should be always cut out by grooming scissors. For an optimal use we recommend to take the matted strand near by the roots of the hair in order to remove the bun by carefully combing. After the coat has been de-matted it is advisable to finish grooming by brushing and combing the pet. We also recommend starting with the use of a de-matting spray. It promotes an easy combing and prevents the coat from getting matted over a longer period.
